The Mobile Phone Watch has landed!

The Mobile Phone Watch craze hits the UK & the US. Yes it’s true, a mobile phone in a wrist watch! The latest in mobile phone technological advances has resulted in this James Bond 007 style design. The technology has been developed in China and is hitting the UK and US shores gradually. Importers are mainly selling online. The big stores and brands are yet to catch up with this amazing innovation. Hands up who’s lost their mobile phone, or left it behind somewhere? Left the house and got too far to turn back after realising your mobile’s been left on the kitchen top, or left in another coat pocket. If you had the opportunity to wear your phone, the chances are this would be less likely, especially if you religiously put your watch on when you get dressed in the...

Sony Ericsson C702 New mobile phone with A-GPS

Sony Ericsson C702 is a cheapest GPS mobile phone. It has many other business functions and very attractive design. The Sony Ericsson C702 is a tad on the bulky side. It's thick and as a result looks quite cumbersome.
It has a 3.2Mp digital camera with LED flash. You can record unlimited video recordings with C702. it has enough 160 Mb internal memory and supports up to 2GB SD cards.
This handset came bundled with Google Maps, Wayfinder Navigator and Tracker - a useful application that uses the GPS to monitor how far and fast you are running (or walking). Wayfinder Navigator allows you to search for local amenities, plan routes and even view your progress on a 3D-style map. Its accuracy in pinpointing our location was excellent, although we did need to be outside or in a car for it to work.
Sony Ericsson has taken the disappointing step not to include a 3.5mm headphone port, or even an adapter. It means that you won't be able to use your own Sennheiser or Bose headphones, although the C702 does support A2DP Stereo Bluetooth. This omission is compensated somewhat by the joyous internet experience, however. HSDPA means fast downloads and quick web access, while web content can be viewed in either landscape or portrait - but this will have to be adjusted via the settings, as there are no accelerometers.

Yes, you’ve read it right: Nokia Aeon might be the handset that appears a couple of times in the new motion picture Echelon Conspiracy. In case you haven’t got the time and patience to watch the movie, we provide some shots from it, showing the mystery device and there’s even a trailer featuring the phone below.

This handset, known as GZT 650 resembles Nokia Aeon very much and its front side is divided into 2 segments, just like on the famous Nokia concept. The two segments are separated by a metallic stripe and the upper side of the display is transparent, like the keypad of the LG GD900 phone.

During Echelon Conspiracy there’s a scene where the device’s screen is shown and we can get a glimpse of its options: messaging, mail, search, calendar, a weather app, a browser, stocks and settings. Since Nokia 5800 XpressMusic surfaced in “The Dark Knight“, could GZT 650 be an upcoming Nokia touchscreen phone as well?

Hacha PC20 Looks Familiar

There really isn’t too much information available about this latest mobile device from a Chinese company named Hacha, but it sure can hold its own compared to all the other iPhone copycats as of late. The super slim frame at 7.7mm and big 3 inch screen look great but we’d really like to know more about whats on the inside. The lack of buttons on the front lead us to believe it must be a touchscreen but we’ll just have to wait until Hacha makes an official release to find out more about the PC20. One more picture after the jump.

Google Phone announcement planned

Google has plans to announce the highly rumored “Google Phone” today which is likely going to be an open platform, Linux-based operation system that runs on mobile phones and is catered to Google applications rather than being an actual specific handset. The latest list of speculated partners for providing the phone include Sprint, Motorola, Samsung and NTT DoCoMo although these are just rumored partners as everyone involved with the deal has kept very quiet about it at Google’s request. Verizon and AT&T have both had talks with Google but reportedly are still leery of the Google-centric plans.

The new Google Phone system is expected to be Linux based with the open source Java development platform laid on top with tools that Google would “give away” to developers to allow them to openly create applications to run on the G-Phone’s platform. The phone has is also being rumored to provide internet access at speeds as fast as you might find on your home computer, but all navigation would be through Google, of course.
